February already!

no posts for a while but lots of fun stuff to report!! Last week Jeff got an award for being the flight commander of the quarter for the whole wing (that's our whole base). He's trying to rack up awards as this weekend we'll go see if he wins Company grade officer of the year for the whole wing. It's nice to get to put it on your military resume and gets some recognition from the higher ups for hard work. I'm not sure the little eagle statue was worth the extra hours but it looks nice on Jeff's desk :-)

In other family news Heather had a devestating experience at school when the whole class (all 6 kids that day) ran from the bathroom to the classroom and got their cards turned to yellow. The bad part was at the end of the week when the other kids (who weren't there that eday) got to pick from the treasure box and got "really cool red, heart suckers. I really wanted one. I was so sad." It was a rough life lesson for heather in listening.

Charlie's leatest entertainment is that we told him when he had to go potty he just had to tell himself that he needed to go. so every so often he will stand up and say, "self I have to go potty I told myself" and off he goes. It's hilarious!!
