happy valentine's day

We had a nice valentine's day although it didn't go quite as planned. Heather went off to school to have her party and Charlie and I did some decorating and got treats at the grocery store. We all fell asleep after reading books and got a good hour nap in before I wiggled my way out from between the kids. Unfortunately Heather woke up with a fever, which canceled our dinner plans as Jeff's friend had offered to watch the kids. Heather was disappointed but we made it through a very romantic taco dinner and some laid back "family time". Tomorrow we get to "dog sit" for Heather and Charlie's favorite babysitter "Riley". They are very excited and hopefully will be feeling back to normal. Jeff fell asleep reading the kids books so it is a romantic end to valentine's day for the tired parents...
